These terms govern the use of the Arcanum.Life bot and the purchase of paid requests. By tapping “✅ I accept” in the bot, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.

2. What the service is

Arcanum.Life is a Telegram bot that, on request, provides:

• a natal chart;
• horoscopes by zodiac sign and the phase of the Moon;
• Tarot spreads;
• compatibility by dates of birth and synastry;
• numerology and business numerology;
• answers to free-form questions (“Ask the Astrologer”).

The calculations (planetary positions, drawn cards, numbers) are performed by the RoxyAPI service. The text interpretations are written by the artificial intelligence model Claude from Anthropic. The bot runs inside Telegram and is also subject to Telegram’s rules.

3. Artificial intelligence and the nature of the results

• You are communicating with an AI, not a human. The bot’s answers, including in “Ask the Astrologer” mode, are generated automatically by an AI model. They are not reviewed by a human astrologer.
• Entertainment and symbolic nature. Astrology, Tarot and numerology are symbolic systems that are not scientifically proven. The results are intended for entertainment and self-reflection and do not predict events.
• Not professional advice. The results do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Do not make decisions about your health, money, contracts or relationships based on them without independent verification and, where necessary, consulting a professional.
• Inaccuracies are possible. AI-generated texts may contain errors or incomplete or outdated information. Check factual statements before relying on them.
• Crisis situations. If you write about suicidal thoughts or a threat to life, the bot does not provide a reading but shows contact details for support services. In an emergency, call 112.

A short version of this disclaimer is shown in the bot at launch (/start) and on the checkout screen before every payment.

4. Age and access

You may use the bot from the age of 18. To use it, you need a Telegram account and must agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Your account is created automatically when you first message the bot and is linked to your Telegram ID. You may not give access to other persons.

5. Free attempts

Every new user receives 3 free attempts. An attempt is one paid action: a spread, a forecast, a calculation or a question to the Astrologer. After each free attempt, the bot shows how many remain and offers the paid plans.

Once the attempts have been used up, paid actions are only carried out if you have purchased requests or active unlimited access. Free attempts are not renewed, including after your data has been deleted.

6. Paid plans

• Cost of actions. The Celtic Cross and full synastry cost 2 requests; all other actions cost 1.
• Failed requests are not charged. An attempt or request is deducted only after a successful result. If no result is delivered because of a technical error, nothing is deducted.
• Order of deduction. Active unlimited access is used first, then purchased requests, then free attempts.
• No automatic renewal. All plans, including unlimited access, are one-off purchases. There are no recurring charges and the subscription does not renew itself, so there is nothing to cancel. You only pay again if you choose to extend.
• Free features. Viewing your profile, history, balance, help and settings is free of charge.
• Prices. Current prices are always shown in the bot (/buy) before payment. In accordance with § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged (Kleinunternehmer – small business exemption).

7. Payment

Payment is made in Telegram Stars within Telegram. Stars can be bought in Telegram by bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The purchase of Stars is settled by Telegram or the app store under their own rules. Prices in euros are given for guidance.

Card and wallet details are not passed on to the provider.

8. Conclusion of the contract

An order is placed in the bot in several steps:

1. You choose a plan (/buy) and a payment method.
2. The bot shows the checkout screen: the name of the plan, the total price, the note “one-off purchase, no automatic renewal” and a short disclaimer. Below it are two tick boxes, unticked by default:
   • ☐ agreement to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the disclaimer, and confirmation that you are 18+;
   • ☐ a request to start providing the service immediately and confirmation that you are aware that you will lose the right of withdrawal (section 9).
3. The “Pay” button showing the amount (in German: “Zahlungspflichtig bestellen”) only works when both boxes are ticked.
4. It then opens the Telegram payment window with the total amount. By confirming payment there, you make a binding offer to conclude the contract.

The time and content of your confirmations are stored together with the payment record.

• The description of a plan in the bot is an invitation to place an order.
• The contract is concluded when the bot confirms payment with the message “✅ Payment received” and credits the requests or unlimited access.
• The language of the contract is the language of the bot interface. The text of the terms is available at any time via the /terms command.

9. Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

If you are a consumer (§ 13 BGB), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins on the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise this right, inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement, for example via support@arcanum.life or Telegram support @Azrael_Costa. You may use the model form below, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice. The refund is made using the same payment method you used. If you paid in Stars, we refund Stars.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

The requests and unlimited access you purchase are digital services whose provision begins immediately after payment. The right of withdrawal expires once performance of the contract has begun and all three of the following conditions are met (§ 356 (5) BGB):

• you have expressly agreed that performance may begin before the withdrawal period expires;
• you have confirmed that you are aware that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins;
• we have confirmed the contract to you on a durable medium (a Telegram message).

You give this consent and confirmation by ticking the second box on the checkout screen (section 8). The bot sends the contract confirmation as a message immediately after payment. If you have not yet used any of the purchased requests, write to /paysupport: in that case we refund the payment even without a formal obligation to do so.

10. Payment support and refunds

For any questions about payment, write in the bot using the /paysupport command or to support@arcanum.life. State the date, payment method and transaction ID (in Telegram: Settings → My Stars). We reply within 48 hours.

• If a paid service was not provided (requests not credited, service unavailable through our fault), we credit the requests again or refund the Stars in full.
• If we do not respond to your request in /paysupport, Telegram allows you to file a complaint about a Stars purchase via @BotFather.
• Unused requests cannot be exchanged for money, except in cases of refunds required by law or under these terms.

11. Rules of use

It is prohibited to:

• use the bot for unlawful purposes or to cause harm to other people;
• enter other people’s personal data without a legal basis;
• try to circumvent the limit on free attempts (for example by using multiple accounts), request rate limits or payment;
• send automated mass requests, collect the bot’s answers into databases, or use the answers to train or fine-tune AI models;
• resell access to the bot or its answers as your own service;
• try to make the AI produce prohibited or harmful content.

In the event of a violation, we may restrict or block access to the bot. In the event of a serious violation, unused requests are not refunded unless the law requires otherwise.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We aim for uninterrupted operation, but the bot depends on Telegram, RoxyAPI, Anthropic and the hosting provider and may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or outages at these services.

We may develop and change the bot’s features, provided that the paid scope of services (purchased requests, remaining unlimited access period) is retained or replaced with an equivalent. If a feature cannot be provided for an extended period, you may use your requests for other features or request a refund for the unused balance.

13. Liability

• We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body and health, and under the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG).
• In the case of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations whose fulfilment you may rely on (Kardinalpflichten – cardinal obligations). Such liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for contracts of this kind.
• In all other cases, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
• Given the symbolic nature of the results (section 3), we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of them.
• Your statutory consumer rights in respect of defects in digital products (§§ 327 et seq. BGB) remain unaffected.

14. Rights to the results

You may freely use the texts the bot has created for you for personal purposes, including sharing them with friends. The design, interface texts and program code of the bot belong to the provider.

The names of astrological systems, Tarot cards and terms belong to their respective rights holders. The service is not affiliated with them.

15. Ending use

You may stop using the bot at any time and delete your data: /settings → “Privacy” → “Delete my data”.

Upon deletion, purchased but unused requests and any remaining unlimited access period are cancelled. If you would like a refund for them, write to /paysupport first.

We may discontinue the bot by giving at least 30 days’ notice in the bot. We will refund any unused balance on a pro rata basis.

16. Applicable law and disputes

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country.

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG). Please contact us first: most issues are resolved via /paysupport.

17. Changes to the terms

If we change these terms, the bot will notify you in advance and ask you to confirm the new terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service. In that case, we will refund unused requests on a pro rata basis.

If any provision proves to be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
